The work is also hand numbered "EA 9/20" (Eprouve d'Artiste=Artist Proof) in pencil at the lower left corner.
It was printed in a limited edition of 60 examplares (plus 20 artist proofs that this is one of them) in 1970.
The paper bears the watermark of Arches France paper.
in 1969 Lapicque returned to create a more sculpture like composition. this is a fine example of thos period in his creation.
