Additional information: The work is Hand Signed by the artist at the lower right part "Bakst".
It is also titled in pencil at the upper right part "St. Sebastien".
This original costume design by Bakst was prepered for the Ballet "Le Martyre de Saint Sebastien" (play by Gabriele d'Annuzio, music by Claude Debussy, costume design by Leon Bakst).
The play was first preformed on the 22nd of May 1911 in the Theatre du Chatelet.
