This Lithograph from 1968 is based on a drawing from 1932, a selfportrait by Tal-Coat himself.
The Lithograph was published to accompany one of Tal-Coat most important exhibitions that took place in 3 different galleries in Paris in 1968. (Gallery Henry Benezit, Gallery Beno D'Incelli & cie, and Gallery Andre Schoeller, all located in Paris).
Although, the exhibition took place in 1968 when Tal-Coat was already famous for his Abstract-Minimalism, the image itself was taken from a much earlier part of his career, 1932.
It is printed on Vellum Arches paper (watermark).
Condition : Very good condition. except of minor fold in the upper right corner of the margins
