Additional Information : This Etching is HAND SIGNED in pencil by the artist "Kathe Kollwitz" at the lower right.
Käthe Kollwitz worked on this plate since 1905. This impression was printed in 1921 as the X (10th) state of the plate.
The etching is inscribed in the plate at the lower margin "1921", the year is was published, as well as
the name and address of the printer which is inscribed in the plate above the signature at the lower right.
The work is plate 3 of the series "Bauernkrieg".

Condition: The paper is laid on thick cardboard. The margins are strongly discolored and dirty.
Tape remains from former matting in the margins.
One short skretch in the image at the upper right dark part above the head.
Otherwise a strong print.
