Additional Information : The Color Lithograph is Hand Signed in pencil by the artist "Miro" at the lower right margin.
The work is also Hand Inscribed in pencil "EA 8/10" (epreuve d'artist = artist proof) at the lower left corner of the image.
This lithograph was printed as part of a series of 13 lithographs called " The Lizard with Goldfeathers" that was created to illustrate a poem written by Miro.
The series was printed in a limited edition of 170 impressions but from them only in the 50 first deluxe portfolios Miro hand signed each of the lithographs in pencil. The rest of the edition was unsigned.
Our Lithograph is one of the only 10 artist proofs that was hand signed in pencil by Miro.
The series was printed by Mourlot, Paris. and published by Broder, Paris.

Condition : Excellent condition. Apart from a few small foxing stains and slight discoloration at the margins through former tape at the reverse.
