Additional Information: This pencil drawing by the famous Hungarian artist Mihaly Von Munkácsy is Hand Signed in pencil at the lower margin "Munkácsy"

Provenance:The work was part of a large Munkácsy collection in Germany.
The work was physically examined by Mrs. Boros Judit, who is an Art historian specializing in 19th century Hungarian Art and in particular the works of Munkacsy .
We will provide the high bidder a photo certificate of authenticity from Mrs. Judit Boros.
The certificate is hand written on the back side of a large photograph of the drawing and is signed and stamped by Mrs. Boros. (see image).
It reads as follows:

"I Judit Boros art historian, specialist on 19th century Hungarian painting,
confirm that this is a copy of an original pencil study of M. de MUNKACSY (1884-1900),
Prepared for the composition : "Aijad" .
Dimension: 211 on 172 mm
Signed.
7th Nov 2003."

Condition: Generally in very good conditon, tape remainings on the reverse upper margin.
