Additional Information : This work is the original Etching from the Kollwitz's original plate that was printed in her life time.
The first plate was done in 1904.
This is one of the examplares that were printed by the printer Felsings, Berlin, and it bears his stamo in the lower right corner of teh plate: "Druck V.O Felsing, Berlin".
The printing was done in 20's, before the "der Becke" edition from 1931.
This Etching was part of the famous and most important Beck Collection of 20th Century German Art.
