Gilden’s Arts Gallery is honoured to invite you to the opening of this exciting exhibition held with the
cooperation of the Judit Virag Gallery in their Budapest Gallery.
This exceptional collection of works by the celebrated Hungarian Avant Garde artist Bela Kadar
will include some rare examples of Kadar’s earlier Cubistic inspired works both in colours and black
and white.

This is the first time these works have been shown in public since they were created more then 80
years ago. We are especially pleased to bring them back to Hungary after decades in exile.

The collection comes directly from the descends of the De’ak brothers, Istvan and Imre,
who were Hungarian imigeres Musicians in the US at the beginning of the century.

Their close friendship with Kadar allowed them to build a truly remarkable collection.
