It is hand numered in pen at the lower left margin “27/30 HC” (Hors Commerce). This is one of 30 prints made ´not for trade´, aside of the standard edition.
Additionally, the work is signed and dated in the plate in the lower left corner of the image.
This work was printed by the famous printer and editor Guy Spitzer after the painting of Marcel Gromaire from 1943.
It was printed in Paris in a limited edition of 250 signed and numbered impressions and 30 signed and numbered “Hors Commerce” proofs.
The paper bears the dry stamp of Guy Spitzer (SG) and is stamped verso with the edition ink stamp stating that this is an original work printed by Guy Spitzer after Marcel Gromaire in a limited, hand signed and numbered edition. The stamp is also numbered in pen “27/30 HC”.
Condition: Good condition. Small overall foxing and some paper peeling in the margins. A few very light scratches in the image, hardly visible.
