This Lithograph was printed in 1954 in a limited edition of 220 hand signed and numbered impressions.
The paper bears the blind stamp of Guilde de la Gravure at the lower left corner.

Condition: Good Condition. Discoloration of the paper. Time staining. Tape stains on the reverse. Light creases in the paper and the corners.

Additional Information: This etching with aquatint is hand Signed in pencil at the lower right margin.
It also bears an inscription in pencil “e.a” at the lower left margin.
This is probably a rare trial or printer proof that was printed before the regular edition of 25 signed and numbered impressions on Japan and 50 signed and numbered impressions on Vellum paper.
Our impression has a background plate that seems to be lacking from the final edition.
The edition was printed by Jacques David and published by Jean Couturier, Paris in 1927.

This wok was probably printed by the artist in a small edition in France in the 1920’s or 1930’s.

Additional Information: This drypoint is hand signed in pencil by the artist “Felixmuller” at the lower right margin.
It is also signed with the artist’s monogram in the plate “FM” in the lower left image.
Our impression is proof aside from the standard edition of 100 signed and numbered impressions, printed in 1921.
It was published by Klinkhardt & Biermann Verlag, Leipzig, and printed by Walter Kunzel, Dresden.
It was published as a contribution to the Jahrbuch der Jungen Kunst, Vol II in 1921.
The paper bears the printer’s ink stamp, verso.

The portfolio is covered with a brown fabric cover.
It includes except of the 47 pages of text and poems by Rudolf Hagelstange 10 Original hand signed color Etchings by Leonor Fini.
All the Etchings are Hand Signed and Numbered on a full separate pages without any text.
The Etchings are Hand Signed in pencil by the artist at the lower right margin “Leoner Fini” and Numbered in pencil “143/250”.
The justification page of the portfolio is hand signed in pencil by Leoner Fini and by Rudolf Hagelstange.
The Etchings are printed on loose pages separate from the book so they can be individaully framed.
Published by edition List, Munchen in 1982.
