Title: Person in a Hat | Personnage au chapeau, 1962

Technique: Original Hand Signed, Dated and Numbered Lithograph in Colours on Arches Wove Paper

Paper size: 65 x 50 cm. / 25.6 x 19.7 in.
Image size: 55 x 38 cm. / 21.7 x 15 in.

Additional Information: This original lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist “J. Dubuffet”. It is also dated “62” (1962) next to the signature.
The work is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 50, at the lower left margin. There were also two artist’s proofs.
It was printed by Serge Lozingot, Paris in April 1961 and published in 1962.
The paper bears the Arches watermark in the left margin.

Condition: Very good condition. Very pale, unobtrusive staining around the image.

Additional Information: This original lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist “J. Dubuffet”. It is also dated “64” (1964) next to the signature.
The work is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 50, at the lower right corner. There were also 13 artist’s proofs.
The paper bears the Arches watermark in the right margin.

Technique: Original Hand Signed, Dated and Numbered Screenprint in colours on wove paper

Paper size: 79.2 x 71 cm / 31.1 x 27.9 in

Additional Information: This original screenprint is hand signed in pencil by the artist with his initials “JD” (Jean Dubuffet). It is also dated “75” (1975) next to the signature.
The work is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 70, at the lower right corner. There were also five numbered hors commerce [out of trade] impressions.
It was co-published by Pace Editions, New York and Editions Beyeler, Basel in 1975.
