Technique: Portfolio of 10 Original Signed Linocuts, Hand-Colored in Pochoir on brown-grey paper with a poem by Jacques Prevert printed on havane satin paper

Size: portfolio 45 x 32.5 cm / 18.1 x 12.8 in

Additional Information: The portfolio consists of 10 linocuts, each printed on a separate sheet and stamp signed with the artist’s signature stamp “Pougny”.
These original prints were created by Pougny himself in Leningrad, Vitebesk and Berlin between 1914 and 1920.
Six of the ten linocuts were also hand colored in pochoir by Cardin and Bogratchew after Pougny’s original designs.
The portfolio also includes a poem by Prevert which was printed on havane satin paper by the Atelier Rigal, who also printed the linocuts.
The justification page bears the edition number 80 and the Pougny signature stamp.
The portfolio has been published in a limited edition of 165 impressions by Au Vent d’Arles, Paris, in 1964.

Condition: Generally in good condition. Some of the prints have stains and handling creases.
