Additional Information: This original etching with aquatint is hand signed in pencil by the artist “Hockney” in the lower right margin.
It is hand dated in pencil “69” [1969] next to the signature.
It is also hand numbered in pencil aside from the edition of 75, at the lower left margin. There were also 16 proofs.
It was printed by Maurice Payne, London and published by Petersburg Press, London in 1969.

Henry Geldzahler was the curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and had first met Hockney in Andy Warhol’s Studio in May 1963.
