Gilden’s Art Gallery will be present for the ninth time at this unique fair, showcasing an exceptional selection of works on paper by Modern Masters at Stand 26.
One of the highlights of the stand will Black Mouse with Mantilla, a stunning Aquatint in colours by Joan Miró from 1975. The captivating and visually compelling: Going Round, from: Some More New Prints, by David Hockney will be one of numerous outstanding Post-War and Contemporary works exhibited at our stand. This work was executed in 1993 and it is notable for being amongst the largest scale original prints the artist executed in his Californian years.
The fair will take place from Thursday 3rd until Sunday 6th May 2018.

We are delighted to invite you to Art Karlsruhe 2018, where we are pleased to exhibit in Hall 3 for the eighth time, in stand F10.
For this special occasion we will show an outstanding selection of works by Modern Masters, including Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró, as well as an important selection of Contemporary Artists such as Josef Albers, Sam Francis and Gerhard Richter.
The highlight of the stand will be a selection of works from our forthcoming exhibition dedicated Marc Chagall which will open in May. The centerpiece is the 1954 work “The bouquet of Paris” a beautiful pastel and india ink drawing. We will also provide the rare opportunity to view the complete set of Chagall’s lithographic masterpiece, The Arabian Nights. This exceptional series was created by the artist in exile in the United States in 1948. We have an exceptional selection of pastels by the Master Christian Rohlfs, especially “Im Café | Im Cafe” from 1918 and the impressive “Amaryllis”.

The fair is a leading international art fair in Germany.
