Condition: Very good condition. The upper sheet attached to a support board. The corners very slightly bumped.

Watercolour and pastel on paper, signed twice and dated.

Additional Information: This rare book was published in New York in 1925 by B.W. Huebsch.
The book has an additional original charcoal drawing by Walkowitz which is also hand signed by the artist.
The book is also hand signed by Mr. Gabriel Talpir, the previous owner of the book and a well known art critic in Israel.

Provenance: Gabriel Talpir, founder and editor of the first art review in Israel “Gazit”.

Condition: Good Condition apart from some stains in the begining and end of the book. Cover trimmed.

Additional Information: This original lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist at the lower right corner “O Zadkine”.
It is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 235, at the lower left margin.
It was printed in a limited edition of 235 by Erker Presse, St. Gallen and published by Gotthard de Beauclair of Ars Liborum, Frankfurt.
The paper bears the BFK Rives watermark in the lower left margin and the blindstamps of the printer and publisher in the lower left corner.

Note: This lithograph accompanied the poem “Les Collines” [The Hills] by Guillaume Apollinaire and was published in a portfolio of the same name. Another impression of this subject can be found in the collection of Les Musées de la Ville de Paris.
