Additional Information: This original etching is hand signed with the artist’s monogram “LS” at the lower right margin. It is also dated “33” [1933] next to the monogram. The work is additionally signed and dated in the plate. The paper bears the BFK Rives watermark in the lower margin.

Condition: Excellent condition.

Additional Information : This Original Lithograph is Hand Signed in pencil at the lower right margin and additionally signed in the plate in the right corner.
This Lithograph from 1968 is based on a drawing from 1932, a selfportrait by Tal-Coat himself.
The Lithograph was published to accompany one of Tal-Coat most important exhibitions that took place in 3 different galleries in Paris in 1968. (Gallery Henry Benezit, Gallery Beno D´Incelli & cie, and Gallery Andre Schoeller, all located in Paris).
Although, the exhibition took place in 1968 when Tal-Coat was already famous for his Abstract-Minimalism, the image itself was taken from a much earlier part of his career, 1932.
It is printed on Vellum Arches paper (watermark).

Condition : Very good condition. except of minor fold in the upper right corner of the margins

Technique: Original Hand Signed and Numbered Lithograph in Colours on Wove Paper

Paper size: 45.5 x 35.5 cm. / 17.9 x 14 in.

Additional Information: This original lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist in Latin characters “Chu Teh-Chun” and in Pinyin, at the lower right margin.
It is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 99, at the lower left margin. There were also ten hors commerce [out of trade] impressions aside from the standard edition.
It was printed by Atelier à Fleur de Pierre, Paris and published Jacque Boulan, Paris, in 2006.
This is the second composition of seven from the portfolio “Saison bleue” [Blue Season] published in 2006. The seventh lithograph is a poem by Jean-Clarence Lambert in Pinyin.

Condition: Good condition. The sheet is glued to a support card.

Additional Information: This original lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist in Latin characters “Chu Teh-Chun” and in Pinyin, at the lower right margin.
It is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 50, at the lower left margin. There were also five artist’s proofs numbered with Roman numerals.
It was printed by Studio Franck Bordas, Paris and co-published by Bouquinerie de l’Institut, Paris and Quedillart, Paris in the same year.
The paper bears the BFK Rives watermark in the lower right margin.

Note: An impression of this subject is held in the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Paris.

Condition: Excellent condition.

Additional Information: This original etching and aquatint in are hand signed in pencil by the artist “Thiebaud” at the lower right margin. It is dated ‘65’ [1965] next to the signature. It is also hand numbered in pencil from the extremely small and rare edition of 10, at the lower left margin. There were also a small number of artists’ proofs aside from the standard edition of ten. It was printed by and published by the artist.

Condition: Excellent condition.

Additional Information: This original woodcut is hand signed in pencil by the artist “Thiebaud” at the lower right margin.

It is also dated ‘1964 next to the signature.

It is hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 10 in the lower left margin. There were also a small number of artist’s proofs aside from the standard edition.

It was published by Allan Stone Gallery in 1964.

Note: A very similar composition with the same title was published in 2008 in a limited edition of 20 impressions, however, the block is not the same as that of 1964.
