Additional Information: This original oil on paper is by the Hungarian artist Lili Orszag.
Lili Orszag was a student at the College of Fine Arts. Between 1950 and 1954 – and later between 1960 and 1978 – she worked as a designer for the State Puppet Theatre, where she met with members of the European School, Dezső Korniss, Jakovits Joseph and Endre Bálint. In the 1950s, the art of surrealism is affected, and the sacred character of the so-called era of iconic creations. In the 1960s, the focus turned to ancient civilizations and cultures, then Palestine and Mesopotamia, city plan, and remains just as well as Hebrew, Coptic and Mesopotamian numbers and letters inspired painting. Around 1969-1970 she returned briefly to the sacred themes, and electronic circuits were constructed maze and reach of these winged angels and sphinxes depicting painted boards.
