Title: Chef and Peasant 

Technique: Original Watercolour on paper 

Size: 21.7 x 45.5 cm / 8.7 x 17.9 in 

Additional Information: This work is an original watercolour drawing by the Hungarian artist József Bató. 

It is stamped with the artist stamp  in charcoal at the upper left of the image.

This is likely to be a study for a Fresque or Mural.

The work is also stamped with the collection  stamp Starck-Oberkoxholtz at the reverse.

Provenance: The former collection of Hermann C. Stack and Renate Starck-Oberkoxholt. (stamp verso) 

Condition: Good condition.

Technique: Original Hand Signed Charcoal Drawing on paper 

Size: 50 x 35 cm / 19.6 x 13.7 in 

Additional Information: This work is an original charcoal drawing by the Hungarian artist József Bató. 

It is hand signed with the artist’s initials (JB) and dated (1922) in charcoal at the lower right of the image.

This work was drawn in 1922.

The work is also stamped with the collection  stamp Starck-Oberkoxholtz at the reverse.

Provenance: The former collection of Hermann C. Stack and Renate Starck-Oberkoxholt. (stamp verso) 

Condition: Various pin holes at the corners. Otherwise good condition.

Additional Information: This work is an original pastel drawing by the Hungarian artist József Bató.

It is stamped signed “Josef Bato” at the lower left corner of the image.

The work is also stamped with the collection  stamp Starck-Oberkoxholtz at the reverse.

Provenance: The former collection of Hermann C. Stack and Renate Starck-Oberkoxholt. (stamp verso) 

Condition: The drawing has been folded previously in two in the middle. There is a tear at the ritght edge and some creases throughout.

Size: 48 x 34 cm / 18 x 13.3 in  

Additional Information: This work is an original watercolour drawing by the Hungarian artist József Bató. 

It is hand signed in pencil by the artist “Bato” at the lower right corner.

This work was painted in the 1920’s

The work is also stamped with the collection  stamp Starck-Oberkoxholtz at the reverse.

Provenance: The former collection of Hermann C. Stack and Renate Starck-Oberkoxholt. (stamp verso) 

Condition: Good condition. The paper is attached to a paper mount.

Condition: Two corners were torn previously.

Technique : Original Pastel and pencil on paper.

Paper size : 77 X 46 cm / 30.3 X 18.1 inch.

Additional Information : This work is an Original painting by the Hungarian artist József Bató.
It is stamped signed with the artist ink signture stamp “Josef Bato” at the lower right margin.
The work is also stamp with the collection Starck-Oberkoxholtz stamp on the back side of the paper.
It was painted during the 1920´s.

Condition : Good Condition, one vertical folds (the paper has been folded in the middle), some damages to the margins area (including creases, tears and missing parts)

Technique : Original Gouache on transperant paper.

Paper size : 40 X 53.5 cm / 15.8 X 21 inch.

Additional Information : This work is an Original painting by the Hungarian artist József Bató.
It is stamped signed with the artist ink signture stamp “Josef Bato” at the lower right margin.
The work is also stamp with the collection Starck-Oberkoxholtz stamp on the back side of the paper.

Condition : Good Condition, some folds in the lower margins (not in the image), minor hadling marks.

Technique : Original Watercolor, Gouache and Tempera over pencil on paper.

Paper size : 98 X 36 cm / 42.5 X 14.1 inch.

Additional Information : This work is an Original painting by the Hungarian artist József Bató.
It is stamped signed with the artist ink signture stamp “Josef Bato” at the lower right margin.
The work is also stamp with the collection Starck-Oberkoxholtz stamp on the back side of the paper.
This painting is painted on 3 seperated sheets of paper that have been attached together.

Condition : Good Condition, 2 folds (where the sheets have been attached together), minor hadling marks.
