This original lithograph in colours is hand signed in pencil by the artist "Miró" in lower right corner.
It is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 75, at the lower left corner.
It was printed by Damià Caus, Barcelona and published by Galería Maeght, Barcelona in 1979.
The paper bears the Arches watermark in the lower left corner.
This composition is one of two created by Joan Miró for the cover of the book ‘Homenatge a Gaudí’ [Hommage to Gaudí] by Lluís Permanyer.
This subject served as the front cover but was published in a deluxe edition of 75 signed and numbered impressions on wide margin paper. There were also 25 Hors commerce [out of trade] impressions numbered with Roman numerals.
