This is an offset lithograph hand signed by the artist 'Richter', at the lower right margin. It is dated '1970' next to the signature.
It is hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 200, at the lower left margin. There were also 35 artist's proofs numbered with Roman numerals.
The work was published by Schweizerischer Kunstverein, St. Gallen, Switzerland

It is based on a photograph of a campfire taken by Richter. This artwork is based on an image included in Atlas (Sheets 64 and 238), a compilation of over 5,000 photographs, drawings and diagrams he has collected or created over 40 years.
The album was published by Schweizerischer Kunstverein, St. Gallen in 1975 in a limited edition of 200 copies (the total edition was 254)
