It was created circa 1935.
Note: Camille Bryen – also known as Camille Briand was close friends with many of the Surrealist poets and was himself a respected poet and painter. His work on the fringes of Surrealism are distinctive from his later pieces, which were to evolve into a movement known as Tachisme.
Condition: Very good condition. The sheet slightly toned. Creasing in the upper margin. Remains of hinging tape along the left sheet edge, verso.
