The paper bears the watermark of “BFK Rives” paper.
This etching was printed as part of the 10 etchings Survage made especially to illustrate Balzac’s “Les Paysans”.
It was printed in Italy in a limited edition of only 75 hand signed and numbered impressions and a few Artist Proofs. Our is one of the rare Artist proofs.
