This painting is signed in black ink by the artist "S. Rottluff" in the left image.
It was realised circa 1965-1969.

Provenance:
Private Collection, Germany. (acquired directly from the artist).
Christie's London, 25 March 1986, lot 237.
The work is registered in the archive of the Karl and Emy Schmidt-Rottluff foundation.

Condition: Very good condition. Remnants of hinging adhesive, verso not visible recto. Soft, unobtrusive handling creases. Pinpoint, scattered foxing.
