This original lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist ‘Marc Chagall’ at the lower right margin.
It is also numbered from the edition of 40, at the lower left margin.
It was printed by Fernand Mourlot and published by André Sauret, Montecarlo.
The paper bears a partial Arches watermark in the lower right margin.
This is the second of fifteen lithographs created for inclusion in the first volume of the catalogue raisonné of Chagall lithographs.
