This original lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist “Schlemmer” at the lower right corner.
It was printed in a total limited edition of 130 signed, but unnumbered impressions and published by Euphorian Verlag in the album "Die Schaffenden VIII" in 1921.
The paper bears the blindstamp of publisher in the lower right corner.

There are other impressions of this subject held in the collections of the National Galleries of Scotland, Edinburgh, the National Gallery of Victoria, Australia, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (NBK).
There are very few graphic works by Schlemmer, with there being only twenty compositions recorded in the catalogue raisonné.
