This is an original sketchbook by the artist Artur Markowicz.
It was realised in 1915 in Vienna and contains numerous pencil and colour drawings depicting Jewish life in Poland and in Austria (Vienna) in 1910's.
The sketchbook has seventy-three pages. Each page is stamped with the collection stamp "A.Marcowicz. Ex coll Mr K".
The outside cover of this sketchbook is stamped with the above collection stamp and inscribed in pencil "1915 I".
Provenance: The Estate of the artist.
The collection of Mr Kahat, Hod Hasaron, Israel.
Condition: Good condition. Some foxing throughout and some tears on a few pages.
