This is an original lithograph by Henry Moore titled "Lambs Climbing".
Our impression is a rare printer's proof that was printed aside the regular signed edition of 30 impressions. There were a further 10 numbrered artist proofs.
It was printed by Curwen Studio, London, in 1979. It was published the same year by Raymond Spencer Ltd for the Henry Moore Foundation.
It is stamped "Sample copy" and bears the Curwen print studio stamp.

Provenance: Acquired from Curwen Chilford Prints Ltd.

The theme of the sheeps is crucial in Moore's oeuvre. The artist used to draw them from his studio window in Perry Green.

Condition: Strong creases throughout. The paper has some foxing stains especially at the edges.
