This is one of seven compositions created for the “Flowers Portfolio”, the other compositions are: Peonies, Azaleas on Yellow, Purple Tulips I, Purple Tulips II, Red Dogwood I and Red Dogwood II.

It was printed in the 1923 in a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered impressions.
Another impression of this lithograph can be found in the collection of the Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery of Glasgow.

Note: This composition is one of eight subjects which comprise the ‘Meistermappe des Staatlichen Bauhauses’ [The Masters Portfolio of the Bauhaus].
